New Hope for Africa - school in Mukono District

New Hope for Africa is a not for profit charity, established in 2005 with the purpose of transforming the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in Uganda.

We have helped develop a school run by New Hope for Africa Community Development Foundation in the village of Nantabuliriwa, Mukono District.

There are currently 674 children registered to attend school and they range from pre-school age up to and including the equivalent of ‘A’ level standard in the UK. The school is licensed by the Ugandan Government Ministry of Education and Sport to teach the national curriculum, (UNEB Lic. No. U3257).

Many of the children have been abandoned and some have witnessed their parents killed in ethnic genocide, or dying due to HIV/AIDS. These young lives need a hope and deserve a better future, your donation helps to provide accommodation, food, clothing and most importantly an education.
