At ITOL we respect your privacy and value our relationship with you. Let us assure you that your personal information will be protected, our goal is to enhance your experience with us. By submitting personal information to us, you are consenting to its use and disclosure for the following purposes:

  1. Maintaining the accuracy of our records to respond to your inquiries and provide you with customer service communications, and otherwise manage our relationship with you;
  2. Providing you with general marketing, product, service information, and offers;
  3. Conducting market analysis;
  4. Meeting safety, security, legal, and regulatory requirements; and
  5. Satisfying other reasonable, legitimate business interests (such as collecting outstanding debts).

If these intended uses are not reasonably obvious from the circumstances in which personal information is collected, we will provide you with an opportunity to withhold your consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of the information. For example, we will give you an opportunity to request that we not use the contact information you provide us when registering for a workshop for marketing purposes, etc. Keep in mind, however, there are limited situations in which applicable laws require or allow us to collect, use/disclose personal information without consent. They include, for example, safety and law enforcement/compliance activities.

How does ITOL collect Customer Information?
We obtain information directly from you when you participate in one of our workshops, complete a pre-workshop survey, complete a post-workshop evaluation, purchase a product/manual/module, or contact one of our Client Service Representatives.

If you do not want us to use this information to contact you for sales or marketing purposes, and would like to limit our use of this information solely for the administration of your registrations, please contact a Client Service Representative at +44 151 236 1813.

Visiting ITOL Websites

Information ITOL may collect through its websites:
During normal website usage, you can visit our site without communicating any personal information. However, there are instances where we request personal information such as your name, address, and email address on our site to provide you with a service, correspondence (promotions and mailed brochures), activities such as an e-newsletter or the download of a resource, or the request of a quote. At times, we conduct voluntary online surveys to obtain your feedback. We request email addresses as a means of contacting you if you wish. Any personal information collected is used as set out in this Privacy Policy.

Our website may contain links to other websites. We encourage you to review the privacy statements of all sites you visit, including those whose links are provided, so that you can understand how those sites collect, use, and share your information. We are not responsible for the privacy statements, content, or data handling practices on other websites.

Electronic mail sent to us that may contain personal information:
You may decide to send to us personally identifying information in an email (e.g. in a message about your workshop experience). We will only use this personal information to identify you as a client, to determine how to respond to your email, and to try to resolve the matter identified in the email.

Use of cookies on ITOL:
When you visit ITOL websites, we may collect and store information about your visit on an anonymous, aggregate basis using “cookie” technology. A cookie is an element of data a website can send to your browser which may then store the cookie on your hard drive. Cookies may tell us the time and length of your visit, the pages you look at on our sites, and the site you visited just before coming to ours. We may also record the name of your internet service provider. This information allows us to measure site activity to tailor your experience within our website. The goal is to save you time and provide you with a more meaningful visit. Cookies used by ITOL on its websites do not reveal personal information and cannot read data from your hard drive.

Will ITOL share my information with other parties?
When you provide ITOL with personally identifiable information, it will be used solely for the purposes of ITOL. We do not share that information with any of our partners.

Additionally, our websites, www.langevin.com and www.mylangevin.com, do contain links to sites outside of and not controlled by Langevin Learning Services. Langevin Learning Services is not responsible for these sites, their omissions, or for the policies or content of their websites. How is my personal information protected?
ITOL is committed to protecting your personal information in full compliance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws. ITOL understands your concerns about online security and about the security of your information otherwise collected by us and we take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse, or alteration of information under our control. In addition, we employ generally accepted information security policies, procedures, and techniques.

We encourage you, the user, to observe the security features built into your browser. Upgrading to the latest version of an internet browser will often provide increased security.

Can I opt out of ITOL marketing promotions and initiatives?
If you do not want to be contacted for product, service, or marketing initiatives, or if you would like to be removed from any direct marketing initiatives, corporate surveys, telemarketing, or direct mail or email lists, or if you would otherwise like to limit our use or disclosure of your personal information, please contact us as indicated below.

Except as required or permitted by applicable law, we will respect your wishes relating to the use of your personal information and we will ensure your file reflects the limitations you have requested. How can I access and correct errors in my information?
You can contact a Client Service Representative at +44 151 236 1813 to review, correct, or update certain aspects of your personal information. The information that may be accessible to our CSRs includes your name, title, address, email address, current or past registrations, and previous contacts with ITOL.

While ITOL uses reasonable efforts to ensure the information we hold about you is accurate, complete, and current, we often rely on you to inform us about changes to your contact or other relevant information (e.g. name, address, telephone number, etc.).

Again, the more information you volunteer, and the more accurate it is, the better we can customise and improve your experience with us.

Will ITOL update its privacy policy?
We are always looking for ways to improve and update our website to further enhance its effectiveness. Consequently, our policies, including this privacy policy, will continue to evolve and ITOL reserves the right to alter this privacy policy from time to time. Such changes will be effective ten days following the date on which this privacy policy is revised and posted to our ITOL websites.
