Coaching carries growing importance as an L&D intervention but there is still widespread concern among buyers of coaching services about the variable quality of the Coaches they hire. Many organisations use internal coaches, mostly line managers or occasionally specialist internal coaches. 73% of these coaches only receive very basic training and 21% have no training at all. The need for coaches to be qualified by a recognised body and trained against a set of internationally recognised standards, is a major issue.
Over the past couple of years ITOL have trained in excess of 3000 coaches in some of the most prestigious and well known organisations in the UK. Our social responsibility partner is the TUTU Foundation, founded by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and we have trained over 250 community coaches who are at work in many of our disadvantaged communities.
This is a baseline qualification, with internationally recognised certificate, for any area of coaching.
*HS – This is a Home Study qualification that you can complete at your own pace in your own space.
Upon successful completion you will be able to encourage and support your client to work through challenging issues towards self-empowerment, self-confidence and a happier, more productive and successful life. This coaching programme gives you the opportunity to make a REAL difference to the lives of those you coach.
This qualification is designed for those who wish to achieve a high level of coaching proficiency. We move beyond the traditional behavioural coaching frameworks (e.g. ‘grow’) to explore more detailed approaches to performance coaching. We also explore the dimensions of human behaviour that can prove a sticking point to sustained performance improvement.
